Inner Katy Transit Oriented Development
Working with Houston METRO, the goal of the project is to improve the accessibility to new proposal stations on a rapid transit line, including considerations of future transit oriented development. As the project manager, my role is to coordinate with sub-consultants and clients on public presentations and engagements, as well as material development such as visual renderings and meeting flyers.
Sunday Streets
Sunday Streets is an event hosted by the City of Houston which aims to show how the streets could be redesigned for pedestrians and bicyclists. I led a team to design a tactical urbanism strategy for a dangerous crosswalk. The design concept illustrates butterflies' living environment to draw attentions to species as well. We worked with the communities to paint the crosswalk. It lasted for a couple of weeks. Now it got turned into one of City's pilot projects and is coming to the community.
